Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully

Effective Date: October 1, 2024
Last Updated: October 12, 2025

1. Welcome to LifeWork (and to Our Beta!)

We're glad you're here. LifeWork is an early-stage platform built to help people discover, connect, and grow — both personally and professionally. By joining our beta or pilot program ("Beta Program"), you're helping us test new ideas, improve our technology, and build a more human-centered experience.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe how you can use LifeWork during this phase and what we ask in return. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (which explains how we handle your data).

This Beta Program is offered by LifeWork LLC, registered in the State of Georgia, United States.

2. Beta Program Purpose

LifeWork's beta platform is provided for testing, feedback, and evaluation purposes only. While we make every effort to provide a stable experience, the platform is still evolving — features may change, break, or disappear without notice.

You're here to help us learn:

  • How users engage with LifeWork.
  • How features perform in real-world use.
  • Where we can make things clearer, faster, or more valuable.

We may reach out occasionally to request your input or invite you to structured feedback sessions through our feedback tools.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

To participate in the Beta Program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).
  • Create an account with accurate information.
  • Use the platform only for lawful and intended purposes.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for any activity that happens under your login.

At the end of the beta, you can close your account or keep it active if you'd like to continue into our public release.

4. Your Use of LifeWork

You agree to use LifeWork in good faith and for its intended purpose — exploring, testing, and providing honest feedback.

You agree not to:

  • Try to break, reverse engineer, or exploit the platform.
  • Use it for illegal or harmful activity.
  • Publish screenshots, videos, or reviews of LifeWork without prior written approval.
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
  • Interfere with other testers or the platform's security.

If we notice activity that violates these expectations, we'll reach out with a warning. Continued misuse may lead to suspension or removal from the Beta Program.

5. Feedback and Suggestions

We built LifeWork to learn from you. By sharing feedback, comments, bug reports, or suggestions ("Feedback"), you agree that:

  • Your feedback is voluntary and provided without expectation of compensation, unless explicitly offered as part of a reward or engagement program.
  • LifeWork owns all rights to use, improve, and build upon that feedback.
  • You grant LifeWork a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your feedback for any purpose related to improving the platform.

We may reward helpful testers with extended access, credits, or other bonuses — but that's always at our discretion.

6. Confidentiality and Communication

The Beta Program may include features, designs, or ideas that are not yet public. We ask that you:

  • Keep all non-public aspects of LifeWork confidential.
  • Share your thoughts and findings directly within the platform or through official feedback channels.
  • Obtain written approval from LifeWork before discussing, posting about, or demonstrating the beta publicly.

We may authorize limited promotion or testimonials, but all public communication must be pre-approved to ensure accuracy and protect brand integrity.

7. Rewards and Participation

We appreciate the time and thought you invest in testing LifeWork.

Participation incentives (like credits or feature access) are optional and non-transferable. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue these rewards at any time.

We may also remove accounts that remain inactive for extended periods or fail to engage meaningfully in testing activities.

8. No Fees and No Warranties

The Beta Program is free to use during this phase. Because of that, we offer it "as is" and "as available."

We don't make any promises that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific expectations. There may be bugs — that's part of testing.

To put it simply:

  • You use LifeWork at your own risk.
  • We're not liable for data loss, downtime, or other indirect issues that might arise.
  • Your goodwill, patience, and honesty are what keep this pilot possible.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms, uses the platform maliciously, or disrupts the testing process.

You can leave the beta at any time by closing your account or contacting us at admin@lifework.live.

If you choose to leave, we'll remove or anonymize your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

10. Data and Privacy

By participating, you agree that LifeWork may collect, analyze, and use anonymized data to evaluate and improve the platform.

All personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data and only use it for platform development, performance, and security purposes.

11. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in LifeWork — including its code, design, AI systems, and content — remain the property of LifeWork LLC.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the beta version for testing and evaluation. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, LifeWork and its team members are not responsible for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — that result from your use of the platform.

Your participation is voluntary and offered in good faith. If something goes wrong, our maximum liability is limited to zero dollars ($0), since no fee or subscription has been charged during the beta period.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled through binding arbitration in Georgia, unless otherwise required by law.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may update or revise these Terms as the beta evolves. When that happens, we'll post the updated version on our website with a new "Last Updated" date.

If you continue using LifeWork after changes are published, it means you accept the new version.

15. Contact Us

16. Final Note

We're a small team working on something big. Your participation helps shape the future of LifeWork — and we're deeply grateful you're here for the journey.

By testing responsibly, sharing insightfully, and staying kind, you're part of building what comes next.

LifeWork — where life always comes before work.
